Grote kans dat zich onder jouw werknemers ook mantelzorgers bevinden. De meeste mantelzorgers praten er niet graag over en soms is de balans tussen werk, zorgtaken en hun eigen leven zo verstoord dat verzuim het gevolg is. Werkende mantelzorgers hebben veel aan hun hoofd en dat brengt vaak de nodige spanningen met zich mee. Hierdoor ervaren ze minder lichamelijke en psychische klachten en kunnen zij de pittige thuissituatie beter aan. Mantelzorgers hebben hierdoor ook minder stress en meer energie om hun werk goed te doen. Dat leidt tot minder verzuim en een hogere productiviteit.<\/p><p>Een mantelzorgvriendelijk personeelsbeleid is aantrekkelijk voor je huidige en toekomstige werknemers en goed voor het imago van je bedrijf. In een tijd van krapte op de arbeidsmarkt kan dit het verschil maken.<\/p><h3>Het is niet ingewikkeld<\/h3><p>Om een mantelzorgvriendelijk personeelsbeleid te cre\u00ebren hoeft het huidige personeelsbeleid echt niet helemaal over de kop. Vaak zijn een aantal aanpassingen aan het huidige beleid voldoende en effectief.<\/p><\/div>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"sh-column sh-column-39344aa8b895a77185a3f8a739c445e1 fw-col-xs-12 fw-col-sm-6\" >\n\n\t\n\t<div class=\"sh-column-wrapper\">\n\t\t\n<div id=\"text-block-4b8d62a530d08d2b1789db89b929df4e\" class=\"sh-text-block\">\n\t<p><em>Dit zijn belangrijke ingredi\u00ebnten van een mantelzorgvriendelijk personeelsbeleid:<\/em><\/p><h3>Maak mantelzorg bespreekbaar<\/h3><p>Belangrijk is om te weten welke werknemers mantelzorg verlenen. Cre\u00eber daarom een sfeer waarin mantelzorg bespreekbaar is. Het neemt veel spanning weg en opent de weg naar het vinden van passende oplossingen.<\/p><h3>Zoek samen naar mogelijkheden<\/h3><p>Focus niet op de beperkingen maar zoek samen met de mantelzorger naar de mogelijkheden waarop de werknemer werk en mantelzorg goed kan combineren. Dat kan door gebruik te maken van zorgverlofregelingen. Maar dat is niet altijd genoeg.
